Letter for the Future of the Equality Brigade

(From The Desktop Of Douglas Hall)

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen of the illustrious Equality Brigade

I am here to give you a decision on what I should work on as a possible Home-Brew Campaign for newer members of the Equality Brigade to embark upon. To get things started I would like to tell you some ideas that I have for the next rendition of heroes as I feel that it would make a great game to DM and an interesting game to play. Please let me know how you feel about these ideas; if there is anything you really like, don't like, or possible ideas of your own as the point of games is that everyone involved is meant to be having fun. These will be following very closely the D&D 5th Edition Rules with only minor rule additions that I have made/am making to fit with the story line.

The idea that I have for this game is that it is about 10 years or so in the future from the current story line of the EB. The Equality Brigade has become an established faction across the sword coast with multiple locations and members doing mission and work for the cities there. You will come in as new recruits to the Equality Brigade as they wish to branch out into the Moonsea territory and expand their area of operations. Your group will be tasked with establishing a home base settlement and gathering influence with important figures and cities in the area. This will happen via the campaign that I will be designing as it will include various things from EB's past and will include writing that I haven't written yet. I am hoping to follow one of these six ideas that I have for campaigns and would like your input as to whether you are interested. Once again, please let me know how you feel about this and if it is an endeavor I should be putting effort into.

Signed Your Potential Future Dungeon Master,
                                                                                 Douglas X. Hall

Balance between the divine and unholy planes has been disturbed by an unknown force. This is causing rifts to appear across the Moonsea allowing otherworldly forces to ravage the land. As heavenly beings fight demons and devils many are helpless to protect themselves. Can you build a haven for those in need of sanctuary and uncover the mysterious force behind the disruption?

An ancient artifact has been unearthed from centuries old ruins in the Moonsea. After being accidentally activated, potential avatars of the Faerunian Gods have been given the divine burden of terrifying powers without the godly focus to use them. Can you gather those willing to aide and fight any that would use their powers to destroy the Moonsea?

Rumors abound of sightings of hags gathering in the dense fog and forests. Word has spread they have begun a contest of territory control. With each group seeking to gain more influence, citizens and towns have come under crossfire. Can you negotiate with the covens to stop, destroy them before they destroy you, or possibly outwit them in their own deadly game?

There has been an awakening in the forests surrounding the Moonsea. Primordial spirits stir as ancient roots arise from slumber after eons of rest. Normally docile beasts have been restless as creatures have begun attacking settlements close to trees. The elves of Cormanthor are concerned for their home, can you help them uncover the secrets of the Sylvan Sanctum?

Dark clouds are gathering over the shores of the Moonsea. Thick mists and hazy fog have settled over the local settlements and the mood of the populace has become grievously dour. Shadows seem to grow and extend their reach over vast swaths of land. Can you build a bacon of hope for the people and wrest the Moonsea from the grip of the Queen of Darkness?

Swarms of creatures rarely found among populated areas have been pouring out of remote areas around the Moonsea. Cities have had to double their guard as even the safest caravan routes have now become perilous. Can you build a sturdy town safe from the ravenous hordes and discover the reasons behind such a great infestation?

P.S. Names and plot-lines are not thoroughly fleshed out at all and can change depending on player suggestions.
